How to get started with ABA services?
Step / 01
Gathering of information and request for authorization.
Once you decide to start the services, our team will guide you and assist in collecting the necessary information to start the process (Medical necessity letter, referrals, diagnostic information, among others) and contact your health insurer to obtain authorization for the initial evaluation.
Step / 02
Initial assessment to develop a treatment plan.
The assessment is conducted by a Behavior Analysts Depending on the child and other circumstances, the evaluation will consist of 3–5 hours, over multiple sessions. The assessment will consist of parent interviews, observations of the child’s behavior, and testing of a variety of skills.
Step /03
Authorization of services and continuity.
The Behavior Analysts will schedule a meeting with you to review the results of the evaluation and your child's clinically recommended therapy hours per week. The assessment will then be sent to your insurance company for authorization and initiation of services. Once your insurance approves and authorizes the number of hours, services can begin.
This process is performed every 6 months and includes a progress report and current treatment needs.
Parents are always involved and informed of every step we take.
